I like to listen to talk shows during work. If I listened to music I would be fast forwarding the songs all day long trying to find what I like. I listen to this one show in Minnesota and they play old school songs during their show. This song came up and I was sent back to 8th grade....

So Tired

So, another updated without pictures :(

I tried to wash my hands the other day and found out that they stole two of our hand soaps (one was 1 squirt away from empty) and my boscia toner spray and my  brand new bath and body works lotion. They also stole Matt's hair cream. If that wasn't awful . . . .


They stole our checkbooks. I figured this out when a $395.10 check was posted to my account. I called Chase this morning when I found out it wasn't mine (hey - I have brain farts sometime) and the lady who talked to me was actually speechless and kept saying oh my gosh when I told her what happened.

What blows my mind is how Victoria's Secret would take a check without an ID! Yes, someone spent $395.10  at Victoria's Secret.

I just prayed while driving to work this morning...that if they really needed the money then fine, take it, but I don't think they really needed $395.10 from Victoria's Secret. I think I should make a trip to a vickies and ask for an answer as to why they didn't ask for an ID. The scary thing is that my drivers license number showed up...did they steal an old drivers license? I don't think i have any. Oh I don't know. This is so messed up.

BUT WAIT! Did they not even look at the ID if they did show it? SO many questions with no answers.

So I WAS going to post yesterday but I got a call around 12:30pm from Matt. He had this incredibly concerned voice and that is always awful - plus no one ever calls me during the day.

We were robbed.

Between 8am and 12pm.

They broke through the back door and deadbolted the front door. They two two tv's....two computers, two cameras, our comforter and sheets, a jar with change in it, alarm clock, few pillow cases, head phones, and hair gel. They had two rifles in another pillow case. It looks like Matt interrupted them and they bolted before they had any idea.

My first question was where is Presley. I had heard a horrible story about how robbers have hurt peoples pets and stolen them. Presley was a okay. Thank you, LORD.

We also had bought a new laptop and a new camera last Friday. Stolen.

Hair gel??? stolen. whatever.

stolen jar of money? Take it? all that was in there were nickels and pennies. I took out all the quarters.

I didn't want to go to work today. I have all the blinds drawn - no one can look in our apartment and I don't trust anyone. Luckily our lease is up in November. We really love the complex...just not our apartment - it is the prime area for a burglary to happen. We are moving to the second floor and in the WIDE open.

The shaking hasn't completely gone away. The crappy feeling is just parked in my stomach. I am just sitting here with a glazed look in my eyes.

I got into work at 8am today and found out that our server is down. GOD really wanted to give me a break today. It is 10am and the server is still down. I also told Matt that I really wanted Jamba Juice today - just got  coupons for cheap jamba juice.

He's always here for me. I just pray he gives me the ability to not hate people and to forgive...because that is going to be difficult.

I absolutely love my friends that asked how I was doing. You really find out who your friends are in this time. I'm keeping them close.

So no pictures....they stole them...

all I want to do is sit in church and talk about GOD.

Father God, I need your help and your insights. Today I have gained a better understanding of forgiving others and with your help, I fully forgive from my heart. Just as you have freely forgiven me, I forgive them. Father, I ask you to forgive me for hurting others out of my own hurt and to heal my relationships with others. I pray all of this in Jesus' precious name and by whom all forgiveness and healing was made possible. Thank you for loving me in ways I'll never comprehend. In Jesus' name, Amen.

YIKES!

I have had a tough couple of days. A long time ago I visited a neurologist because I was having AWFUL headaches...he determined it was migranes and gave me meds.

It wasn't migraines. He also said I could possibly have "Cluster" headaches. I still got headaches and gave up trying to treat it.

This summer has been called the headache summer. I got them ALL THE TIME. I just learned to live with it. When I didn't have a headache it was heaven! I started getting them everyday this past week....I decided to google and google and google to try to figure out what type of headache it was so I could treat it because Advil, Aleve, Excedrin, and Tylenol would not work. The headache would be behind my eye a lot of the time and light and noise would make it even worse. Falling asleep wouldn't help. I'd wake up with the awful headache. This was torture.

Figured it out last night while I was dealing with a headache that lasted for about two days.

I DO have cluster headaches.

Good thing: they are benign.
Bad thing: NO over the count meds help AT ALL.

 Cluster headache is one of the most painful types of headache. Cluster headache is sometimes called the "alarm clock headache" because it commonly awakens you in the middle of the night with intense pain in or around the eye on one side of your head.

Bouts of frequent attacks — known as cluster periods — may last from weeks to months, usually followed by remission periods when the headache attacks stop completely. During remission, no headaches occur for months and sometimes even years.

Fortunately, cluster headache is rare and not life-threatening. Treatments can help make cluster headache attacks shorter and less severe.

• Excruciating pain, generally located in or around the eye, but may radiate to other areas of the face, head, neck and shoulders
• One-sided pain
• Restlessness
• Excessive tearing
• Redness in the eye of the affected side
• Stuffy or runny nasal passage in the nostril on the affected side of your face
• Sweaty, pale skin (pallor) on the face
• Swelling around the eye on the affected side of your face
• Reduced pupil size
• Drooping eyelid

The pain of a cluster headache is often described as sharp, penetrating or burning. People with this condition say that the pain feels like a hot poker being stuck in the eye or that the eye is being pushed out of its socket. People with cluster headache appear restless, preferring to pace or sit and rock back and forth to soothe the attack. In contrast to people with migraine, people with cluster headache usually avoid lying down during an attack because this position seems to increase the pain.

Some migraine-like symptoms, including nausea, sensitivity to light and sound, and aura, may occur with a cluster headache, though usually on one side.

Cluster period characteristicsA cluster period generally lasts from six to 12 weeks. The starting date and the duration of each cluster period may be consistent from period to period. For example, cluster periods may occur seasonally, such as every spring or every fall.

Most people have episodic cluster headaches, which means the cluster headaches occur for one week to a year, followed by a pain-free remission period that may last as long as six to 12 months before another cluster headache develops. Chronic cluster periods may continue for more than a year, or pain-free periods may last less than one month.

Want to know how to treat these headaches...extra oxygen and melatonin....lol . . .. There are also different treatments that don't sound familiar....melatonin it is.

I will review this books in the future. I really can’t pick a favorite – they are all uniquely different. I did feel like crying when I read “13 Reasons Why.” It also makes me scared of having a kid if this is how school is like these days.

I am currently reading: Across the Universe

I haven't read a sci-fi/space book in quite sometime...it is a bit of an adjustment. Each chapter goes back and forth between two people...Interesting perspective. 

I finally decided to get a library card...all these books were starting to cost precious money. The unfortunate thing is that my library doesn't have all the books I want : (

The cards have not change since I was 4 when I started to go to this library.

We have had a pretty rotten 9 months - weather wise. It barely rains - if ever - and August had 30/31 days in the cool 100s.

This is a hop - skip - and a jump away from where I live.

8000 people have been evacuated and they were in desperate needs of supplies. 

On Tuesdays, our small group has bible study. Yesterday we decided to help out the victims and the fire fighters. We went to Wal Mart and stocked up!
