We have had a pretty rotten 9 months - weather wise. It barely rains - if ever - and August had 30/31 days in the cool 100s.
There was Tropical Storm Lee who brought wind and only wind to Houston. That's when this happened
This is a hop - skip - and a jump away from where I live.
8000 people have been evacuated and they were in desperate needs of supplies.
On Tuesdays, our small group has bible study. Yesterday we decided to help out the victims and the fire fighters. We went to Wal Mart and stocked up!

yup...the awesome month we just had! This does not show the "feel like" temps - they were over 110 degrees!
